BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING
August 11, 2021
The Directors of the Garden City Board of REALTORS®, Inc. met on Wednesday, August 11, 2021, at 9:30 AM.
PRESENT: Vicki Germann, President; Jeana Anliker, President-Elect; Cindy Unger, Secretary-Treasurer; Past President, Tom Chappel; and KAR Director, Maxine Atkinson;
ABSENT: Kris Davis, Secretary-Treasurer Elect; Directors: Kim Grebe, Tami Hunter and Amanda Janda; Becky Heiman, MLS Chairman
The meeting was called to order by President Vicki Germann
APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
Vicki declared the minutes of the July 14, 2021 Directors meeting approved as presented.
MEMBERSHIP REPORT:
Vicki reported that currently we have 86 Board Members representing 15 Agencies, 84 MLS Recipients and
36 Affiliate Members.
FINANCE COMMITTEE REPORT:
-Cindy presented the July 2021 Financial Reports. Jeana Anliker made the motion to approve the July 2021 financial reports. Tom Chappel seconded the motion. Motion carried.
RPAC REPORT
Donna shared the July 2021 RPAC report.
NEW BUSINESS:
• Mark Tomb- September Visit-It was decided when Mark Tomb visits at the September membership luncheon the association will hold a raffle for an iPad. Cindy Unger made the motion to purchase a 10” iPad with 128 GB for approximately $430. 1 raffle ticket will be $25.00 or 6 for $100. Tom Chappel seconded the motion. Motion carried.
• Endorsement of Vicki Germann as a candidate for KAR’s Zone 5 VP for the term 2023-2024-Tom Chappel made the motion to endorse Vicki Germann as a candidate for KAR’s Zone 5 VP (term 2023-2024). Jeana Anliker seconded the motion. Motion carried.
OLD BUSINESS:
• Strategic Plan Review-The Board approved the 2021 Strategic Plan that was presented with the updated goals of Fair Housing and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.
