BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING
October 13, 2021
The Directors of the Garden City Board of REALTORS®, Inc. met on Wednesday, October 13, 2021, at 9:30 AM.
PRESENT: Vicki Germann; President, Cindy Unger; Secretary-Treasurer; Kris Davis; Secretary-Treasurer Elect, Past President; Tom Chappel, and Director; Tami Hunter
ABSENT: Jeana Anliker; President Elect, Maxine Atkinson; KAR Director, Becky Heiman; MLS Chairman; Directors; Kim Grebe & Amanda Janda
The meeting was called to order by President Vicki Germann
APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
Vicki declared the minutes of the September 08, 2021 Directors meeting, approved as presented.
MEMBERSHIP REPORT:
Vicki reported that currently we have 86 Board Members representing 15 Agencies, 85 MLS Recipients and
37 Affiliate Members.
FINANCE COMMITTEE REPORT:
-Cindy presented the September 2021 Financial Reports. Tom Chappel made the motion to approve the September 2021 financial reports. Cindy Unger second the motion. Motion carried.
RPAC REPORT
Lyndsay Plankenhorn gave the September 2021 RPAC Report.
NEW BUSINESS:
- Donna Wilkerson presented the 2022 Budget. Tami Hunter motioned to offer agent profiles on website as a benefit of being a member. Tom Chappel second the motion. Motion Carried. Cindy Unger motioned to approve membership fee raise to $500/year, Kris Davis second the motion. Motion carried. Tom Chappel motioned to approve the 2022 GCBOR budget as presented, Tami Hunter moved to second the motion. Motion Carried. Tami Hunter moved to approve the 2022 MLS budget as presented, Kris Davis second the motion. Motion carried.
- Lyndsay Plankenhorn presented the options for new office rental spaces or updating current office. Lyndsay made an appointment for the board to see an office downtown, it was agreed by majority that it wasn’t the right space for the board, but to keep looking for other opportunities.
OLD BUSINESS:
Mark Tomb is still coming to November Luncheon, KAR leadership will wait until after new year.
OTHER BUSINESS: N/A

ADJOURNMENT:
No further business, meeting was adjourned at 10:15am to proceed with an executive session for a performance review of exiting E.O. Donna Wilkerson.
